I had been on the road for two days straight, making my waythrough the country with no goal except to find redemption. Driving past the springtime dew of the Sierra Nevada forest, I ventured into the valley, with the freedom of the road flowing through strands of hair. I needed an Oasis away from this troubled world, and Happy Bar was the place that I was able to find find rest, and more importantly, peace. When I first moved to Sacramento, this is one of the very first places my aunt and I discovered well, she discovered it first, anyways, it's become such an etched entity in my brain. I will never forget this place. I don't go as often as I would like, nor as often as I did before, but in all respect it is one of the best places. It's a hidden gem. Most definitely the name says it all. And by such crazy circumstances, my aunt actually works there Now. She's one of the bartenders, Go figure. But most definitely if you are in Sacramento and you're just wanting to go out for some nightlife but casually this is the spot. Karaoke is amazing! Super fun. So are all the people. It's more diverse now than it was before, But you have to understand word of mouth now so people do show up! I love this bar. I really do. They do a lot of potlucks as well. There's not large amounts of food that is available there but they will on occasions have the hot dogs going. They have a wonderful bloody Mary Saturday and I say wonderful and that word does not do it justice. They are amazing but you'll have to find the actual Saturdays that they are available. Trust and believe you will not be disappointed after coming here.

Friendly bartenders who make great cocktails. Happy Bar makes a really good bloody Mary on the first Saturday of every month. Great place to play a friendly game of pool.

I am a more particular customer when I go places due to some health difficulties. It is never easy to find somewhere I can be myself. Every single staff I've met here has been delightful towards me. Thanks guys

This is a cool little bar that I get to come visit when we have pool league, every once in a while. Everybody knows each other and has a nice community. Drinks are priced right. You can play music on touch tunes. . if you live in the area I would recommend you visit it also.
